1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Nothing Ends mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App

2. Description of Service

​

Nothing Ends is a mobile application that records voice input, generates written prose from it using AI, and organises that prose into themes within a personal library.

3. User Accounts

​

3.1 Account Creation

​

  • You may create an account using Google Sign-In

  • You must provide accurate and complete information

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

​

3.2 Account Responsibility

​

  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

​

4. User Conduct

​

You agree not to use the App for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, violate any laws, infringe on others' rights, upload malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, reverse engineer the App, use automated systems to access the App, or share your account.

You also agree not to record audio of other people without their consent where consent is legally required, and not to upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Rights

The App and its underlying software are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

5.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of your voice recordings and the prose generated from them. By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to process this content solely to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to record and process any voices or content captured by the App.

6. API and Service Usage

6.1 Fair Use Policy
​

  • Free tier users have limited recordings, prose generations, and regenerations per period

  • Premium users benefit from generous usage limits subject to a fair use cap

  • We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access for accounts that exceed reasonable usage thresholds

  • Automated, scripted, or bulk usage of AI features is not permitted

6.2 Third-Party Services
​

By using the App, you also agree to the applicable terms of Google Firebase, the AI and speech-to-text providers we rely on, and any external services linked within the App. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of any third-party service.

7. Generated Content

Prose, theme groupings, and other text outputs are generated by AI from your input. While we strive for quality, generated output may contain errors, omissions, or interpretations you did not intend. You are free to edit, regenerate, or delete any output at any time. We do not claim ownership of the prose generated from your recordings.

8. Personal Wellbeing Disclaimers

Nothing Ends is a journaling and prose-generation tool. It is not a mental health service and does not provide therapeutic, medical, or psychological advice.

  • The App is not a substitute for support from a qualified professional

  • If you are experiencing distress, suicidal thoughts, or a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or local emergency services

  • We are not responsible for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from content you record or prose the App generates

 

9. Limitation of Liability

  • THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

  • We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or emotional impact of any prose generated by the App

  • TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect and use your information.

11. Termination

​

You may stop using the App or manage your subscription through your app store account settings at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, and may discontinue the App at any time with reasonable notice.

12. Changes to Terms

​

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified through the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

​

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Severability & Entire Agreement

​

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.

By using Nothing Ends, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
